RALEIGH -- Kaye Cowher, the wife of former Pittsburgh Steelers football coach Bill Cowher, died Friday in her native North Carolina.The Pittsburgh Post Gazette reports that 54-year-old Kaye Cowher lost her battle with skin cancer Friday.The couple, both athletes, met at N.C. State University in 1976.
