NEW YORK — The Braves resume play after the All-Star break with a four-game series against Milwaukee at Turner Field beginning Thursday, and plan to start pitchers Jair Jurrjens, followed by Tommy Hanson, Tim Hudson and Derek Lowe, in that order.
Kris Medlen will go about two weeks between starts, assuming he pitches in the San Diego series that begins Tuesday, July 20. The Braves weren’t ready to announce plans for the Padres series.
Medlen pitched an inning of relief Sunday again
