For Research : Characteristics of TV Commercial

TV has traditionally been the most powerful and popular advertising communication for people in the media business and this is mainly as coverage, frequency, image, persuasion, and demonstration impact to the audience. And also television is a visual media and the message is dominated by the impact of visual effects as when watching television, can see a walking, talking moving that even gives the illusion of being three-dimensional (Wells, Burnett & Moriarty, 2002, p. 387). A tremendous number visual elements must be coordinated in successful television advertisements as television is theatrical many of the elements such as characters, costumes, sets and locations, props, lighting, optical and computerized special effects and on screen graphics are similar to those use in a play, therefore, television show or movie and television commercial is the most complex of all advertising forms (White, 1981).
